“The Mattapoisett Police Department would like to welcome and congratulate our newest member of the department, Officer Luis DaSilva.
On Wednesday, April 6, 2022 Officer DaSilva graduated from the MPTC 14th ROC Full-time Reserve Intermittent Police Academy in Randolph, MA and will now serve the Town of Mattapoisett as its newest full-time patrol officer.
In addition to the extensive academic and physical training that he received in the academy, Officer DaSilva has also obtained his Bachelors of Science from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
