The number of reported rapes and attempted rapes have dropped during 2022 compared to the same time last year, but non-domestic assaults have increased across most parts of Boston. Here are the latest preliminary crime statistics* from Boston Police, by precinct:

Non-domestic assaults: 58
Mission Hill, Roxbury, Mattapan (Area B)
Rapes and attempted rapes: 9
Non-domestic assaults: 108
South Boston, Dorchester (Area C)
Rapes and attempted rapes: 5
Non-domestic assaults: 87
Back Bay, Fenway-Kenmore, South End, Allston-Brighton (Area D)
Rapes and attempted rapes: 6
