Amherst Dems to host candidates for statewide office

AMHERST — Candidates for state attorney general and secretary of state will participate in a virtual meeting of the Amherst Democrats from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.

Shannon Liss-Riordan and Andrea Campbell, who are running for the Democratic nomination for attorney general, will discuss their plans and take questions from attendees at the meeting of the Amherst Democratic Town Committee. A third candidate for the position, Quentin Palfrey, attended a similar meeting in January.

Tanisha Sullivan, candidate for secretary of state, will also speak at the meeting and respond to questions.
