A member of the East Bridgewater Police Department has been placed on administrative leave, Police Chief Michael Jenkins said on Tuesday.

East Bridgewater Police Sgt. Thomas Flint was placed on leave on Saturday, Nov. 18 “following an off-duty incident that led to his arrest in another community,” Jenkins said on Nov. 21.

Flint will stay on leave “pending the results of an internal investigation and court proceedings,” Jenkins said. “As this is a personnel matter, no further information will be released at this time.”
