PLAISTOW — A 40-year-old woman was seriously injured Saturday when the car she was driving crashed into a rock wall and a tree on Forrest Street.
The woman was flown to a Boston area hospital, said Plaistow fire Capt. Scott Vezina. He said she received a “traumatic injury” in the crash, which occurred about 4 p.m.
No other vehicles were involved and there were no passengers in the car.
Vezina described Forrest Street as a residential road and said the speed limit is 25 mph.
