Pickleball continues to grow in popularity in Westfield

WESTFIELD – Pickleball, which has been on the rise across the country over the last few years, is still showing no signs of slowing down locally.

“I think we’re always growing as the word gets out more and more,” said Westfield Pickleball, Inc. President Dena Polverari.

Westfield Pickleball has seen its memberships increase in the past year. Players come from as many as 12 towns in the area. Around 60 new people attended their “Pickleball 101″ clinic last summer. When they ran the clinic a second time, 30 new people showed up.
