Jelly Roll’s spouse Bunnie XO took to Facebook Wednesday with an extended statement commemorating her one-year departure from sex work, culminating in shutting down her OnlyFans page.

Bunnie XO, 44, shared a post dated March 6, 2023 that read, ‘Just officially shut down my spicy site. What a fun ride that was. On to the next bag baby.’

The Houston native explained further context to the post Wednesday marking the one-year anniversary of her decision to fully retire from sex work, as she had worked as an escort prior to staring a lucrative OnlyFans.

‘Awww a year ago I retired from the SW industry,’ she said. ‘I was SO scared to let go of that part of my life & leave behind the money I was making – wasn’t sure how I’d make up that part of my business. But I had faith & let God have it & he made sure I made it back 10 fold.

‘So thankful to all of you who believe in me & sub to my patreon, buy merch, listen to the pod & engage daily w/ me. THANK YOU.’

Bunnie XO, whose full name is Bunnie DeFord, shared a DM from a follower who was confused about the timeline of her sex work career, as she has been married to Jelly Roll, 39, since 2016.

‘A lot of [people] seem to be confused as to how I just retired from [sex work] last year because I’ve been married for 7 years lol.. so here’s the answer,’ she said. ‘I’m an open book & don’t mind letting y’all kno..’

Bunnie XO, who hosts the Dumb Blonde Podcast, said that she relished her independence, and didn’t want to relinquish her revenue streams when she exchanged vows with the Nashville native in 2016 in Las Vegas.

‘I have always worked & made money on my own, when I married J I refused to give up my independence & rely solely on him,’ Bunnie XO said. ‘And to be honest he never once asked me to. He knew how important it was to me to make my own money.’

Bunnie XO said that Jelly Roll, whose full name is Jason Bradley DeFord, would hint that he would be fine if she ceased with sex work.

‘He did always say, “One day baby you won’t have to do this anymore,”‘ Bunnie XO said.

Bunnie XO said that in 2018, she started her self-named brand, which was funded with her sex work earnings.

‘I literally built my entire brand from the ground up without help from anyone – not even my husband,’ Bunnie XO said.

Bunnie XO said that the onset of the coronavirus pandemic four years ago brought about drastic changes in her industry, as she focused more on developing her OnlyFans page.

She said: ‘2020 came around and I retired from seeing clients & having sugar daddies & started my Onlyfans which made me millions. It was crazy the amount of money that site made me in such a short time.

‘Finally in 2022 my business Bunnie Xo started making just as much money – if not more than my SW money. So I couldn’t justify still having that part of my life when the new brand I created was thriving so much.’

The spouse of the musical artist, whose hits include Son of a Sinner and Need a Favor, said she ‘also didn’t want to be the only wife in the country music scene whose butthole was on the internet.’

Bunnie XO said she ‘decided to retire’ and fully immerse herself in her Bunnie Xo brand last year.

She added, ‘Best decision I ever made. The rest is history baby!’

In July of 2022, Jelly Roll said on Bert Kreischer’s podcast how Bunnie XO was supporting them before his breakout in the music business.

‘I was dead broke, and she just kind of took to me,’ he said. ‘And she was really making money in the sex work industry.

‘Like, real money. I didn’t know that existed … I didn’t understand the concept … But I didn’t have a problem with it. It it’s that high-end I’m cool with whatever.’
