Molly Ringwald cut a stylish figure as she was joined by her twins, Adele and Roman, at the Miami Film Festival where she was honored with the Creative Vanguard Award

The 56-year-old mother-of-three looked stunning in a low-cut white dress with gold accents and cutouts on the sides.

Her signature fiery-red hair was lightly curled as it cascaded over her shoulders while she posed with her 14-year-olds.

The star — who recently revealed her older daughter Mathilda Gianopoulos, 20, was ‘conceived at Studio 54’ — opted for light makeup with pink blush that brought out her cheekbones and gave her a youthful glow.

Her two children donned all black ensembles for the rare red carpet appearance.

The Riverdale star was given the award at the 41st Miami Film Festival at the Chapman Conference Center.

‘It’s important to remember that before Molly Ringwald was the iconic young star of John Hughes’ teen angst-driven comedies such as Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink and The Breakfast Club,’

‘She first starred in Paul Mazursky’s contemporary update of Shakespeare’s Tempest,’ said the Variety EVP of Global Content and Executive Editor Steve Gaydos.

‘This is important because the secret of Ringwald’s early success and career longevity is the simple fact she has always been one of American film and television’s most gifted and versatile actresses,’ he added.

‘Her dazzling work this year as Joanna Carson in the Ryan Murphy hit TV series Feud is ample proof that Ringwald’s range and acumen remain intact, and audiences can continue to expect new and wonderful surprises from one of their favorite stars,’ he said.

The festival is said to celebrating her career and long standing work in the world of Hollywood.

‘The Miami Film Festival is excited to continue our partnership with Variety to host remarkable award tributes. We could not be more thrilled to be honoring Molly Ringwald, her career is one that not only spans generations of audiences but also has the ability to intoxicate and delight those watching with outstanding performances,’ Gaydos finished.

‘Her iconic career across film and television is one worth being admired, including my favorite The Breakfast Club. We’re honored to celebrate the exceptional and long-lasting career of Molly Ringwald,’ said the festival’s Director of Programming.

In February, she and Panio Gianopoulos, who wed in 2007, celebrated 23 years together.

The Golden Globe nominee went on to explain that she ‘always knew’ she ‘wanted to have children but it took’ her ‘awhile’ to start a family with her husband who she met online in the early 2000s.

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s Radio in 2021, the Roseville, California native opened about raising their three kids and whether she has sat down to watch any of her old movies with them.

‘It definitely is a different time. People ask me if I’ve watched them with my kids, and I did watch the first one … with Mathilda,’ she admitted. ‘And it was such an emotional experience that I haven’t found that strength to watch it with my two other kids.’

Gianopoulos knows a thing or two about love and romance as the author of How to Get Into Our House and Where We Keep the Money, a short story collection about men and women struggling to find and keep love.

His stories, essays, and poetry have appeared in various magazines and newspapers over the years.

Before becoming a writer exclusively, Gianopoulos worked as a book editor at such companies as Crown Publishing, Talk Miramax Books, Bloomsbury Publishing and Backlit Fiction.
