Raven-Symoné and wife Miranda Maday are hitting back after a flood of social media hate from fans.

The Disney Channel alum, 38, took to TikTok on Thursday to defend her wife from ‘trolling’ and ‘death threats’ after Maday, 33, admitted to not watching her wife’s work as a kid.

‘I’m here with Miranda, my wife, to tell you to stop it in the comments and stop with the death threats in her DMs,’ she started in the video.

‘It is disrespectful to her, and in turn, disrespectful to me. Stop it,’ added Raven.

The video comes after the couple appeared on the Bottoms Up with Fannita podcast, where Maday admitted to not watching That’s So Raven or Cheetah Girls before meeting her wife.

‘I do not think I watched anything and registered that it was Raven before it was together,’ she said. ‘I knew who you were, but you just were not on my radar.’

Maday said Thursday that the backlash has ‘really become wild,’ adding: ‘I hope to clear the air right now in letting you all know that I never have once said that I did not know who Raven was.

‘I only ever said that I did not grow up watching That’s So Raven,’ she noted. ‘I did not watch her as a child.’

The former personal assistant explained she has ‘seen the majority of her work’ since tying the knot with Raven in an at-home wedding in June 2020.

‘I love That’s So Raven. I think she should have won all the Emmys,’ she continued. ‘I think my wife is endlessly talented, I support her beyond.

‘She also isn’t just Raven-Symone to me. You guys must try and open your minds a little bit and understand there is more behind people that are celebrities. There is real life here.’

Maday added, ‘And that’s why we’re feeling inclined to address this, because I am receiving so much hate for something that is really just a big spiral of internet misinformation.

Raven signed off with one last message, ‘And for all the blue checks out there acting like trolls, sit down.’

She reprised the role for the Disney+ reboot Raven’s Home, which premiered in 2017 and is currently awaiting a season seven renewal.

Raven previously revealed on Tamron Hall that Maday ‘never saw That’s So Raven before she met me,’ which was an advantage to their relationship.

‘It’s fantastic!’ she raved at the time. ‘Imagine being in a relationship with someone who doesn’t look at you like a famous person even though you have been famous your whole entire life. You get to be seen.

‘And Miranda provided me with a reality, with an honest conversation to the point where she forgets that I’m Raven-Symoné or doesn’t even consider me that person,’ added Raven.
