Marijuana grow house busted in Brimfield

BRIMFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A search warrant was conducted after a two-year investigation into a marijuana laboratory in Brimfield on Monday.

According to the Brimfield Police Department, at around 11:30 a.m. a search warrant was executed at a home located on East Hill Road. Police seized items consistent with a sophisticated marijuana grow lab including chemicals used to extract THC from plants.

Brimfield Police Chief William Beaudry said that the investigation is still ongoing and suspects involved will be prosecuted at a later date. Chief Beaudry said there is no threat to the community and if you see anything suspicious, contact authorities.

Members from the Massachusetts State Police, Federal Law Enforcement Agencies, Brimfield Fire Department, Action Ambulance, and Brimfield Police Department assisted in the search.
