Dartmouth Police Department seeks public’s help IDing armed robbery suspect – New Bedford Guide

“On Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at approximately 9:30 p.m., Dartmouth Police responded to Acme Liquors, located at #722 Dartmouth Street, to investigate an alleged armed robbery.

According to information gathered at the scene, an unknown suspect dressed all in black and brandishing a firearm, entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. After receiving an undetermined amount of money, the suspect exited the store through a rear door, and was last seen running towards Sol E Mar Street.

The suspect was described as a short male with a stocky build dressed all in black.

Dartmouth Police detectives are currently investigating the incident and encourage anyone with information to contact the Dartmouth Police Department Investigative Services Division at 508-910-1775.
