Tiffany Haddish was spotted exiting The View studio in New York City on Tuesday morning.

After making her appearance on the talk show, the 44-year-old comedian had a bright smile on her face as she stepped out in a bold, yellow dress and high heels.

She paired the sleeveless, figure-hugging dress, which featured a slouchy, asymmetrical cowl neckline, with a pair of metallic gold sandal heels.

She looked elegant with her dark brunette bob parted to the side and styled with soft bends. A pair of dainty gold earrings peeked out from behind her hair.

The Girls Trip actress — who shared the scary details of a recent car crash she was involved in — also wore a wraparound statement bangle bracelet as well as two matching silver rings.

For makeup, she went for a soft look with an emphasis on long, fluttering eyelashes and a glossy nude lip.

As she stepped out of the building, she greeted onlookers with a wave and a big grin.

She appeared to be in high spirits after she was surprised with a touching reunion on the show and as she celebrates the release of her new memoir I Curse You with Joy.

She was reunited with one of her teachers from high school who had a big influence on her and taught her how to read.

When she was surprised with her former drama teacher Mrs. Grieb, she broke down in tears. Emotionally, she recalled having Grieb as a teacher in ninth grade and said she ‘figured out that I couldn’t read.’

‘I was very good at hiding and masking and pretending and she figured out that I couldn’t do it very well,’ she explained.

The teacher ‘would have me come to her class at lunch, in that 15 minute break, and she would give me magazines and newspapers and she would sit with me to read,’ she said. ‘Basically by the end of the semester I was reading!’

Haddish said she’d kept in touch with her teacher but had not seen her in person in 25 years.

After giving her former teacher a big hug, she told her: ‘Thank you so much for being patient with me. Thank you so much for always encouraging me, and taking time with me and listening to me.’

She touched on her difficult childhood and added: ‘During that time I was really struggling a lot and you were the most consistent, constant thing in my world next to my grandma. I’m so grateful for you. I’m so glad I met you. Thank you so much for being kind.’

In her new memoir I Curse You with Joy, Haddish opens up about her personal life, which includes her mother’s struggle with mental illness and ending up in the foster care system.

Her new memoir, which is a follow-up to her 2017 New York Times bestseller The Last Black Unicorn, is available on May 7.
