Ben Affleck emerged for the first time since sparking Botox and surgery rumors at Tom Brady‘s roast.

The actor, 51, was spotted with his son Samuel, 12, in Los Angeles on Tuesday – two days after his appearance raised eyebrows amongst viewers of the comedy special.

The star displayed his incredibly smooth and freshly-shaven complexion as he stepped out clad in a taupe button down shirt, jeans, and his usual Nike footwear.

Ben appeared in good spirits as he enjoyed some quality time with his son, flashing a smile as they strolled down the sidewalk together. The actor shares Samuel with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. 

It comes after fans took to social media following his surprise appearance at Brady’s roast, with many believing he had recently gotten a face lift before the event on Sunday night. 

The Gone Girl actor was also noticeably absent from the Met Gala on Monday evening, despite his wife Jennifer Lopez serving as co-chair of the lavish event.

Affleck made a surprise appearance on the Brady roast, launching into a bizarre speech about NFL fans on social media, dubbed a ‘car crash’ by some viewers.

Others took aim at Affleck’s face, questioning if he had undergone a facelift.

The anger that person was referring to was Affleck’s disdain for social media, spending most of his set complaining about fans who troll Brady… than actually roasting Brady himself.

Netflix aired its live roast of NFL legend Tom Brady on Sunday, with a few surprises in store for fans, including an unscheduled appearance by Ben 

But insiders have now shot down speculation he has been under the knife, claiming he was simply clean shaven and had had some Botox.

‘Ben looks great,’ a source told DailyMail.com exclusively. ‘He had Botox – everyone gets it before events. He has not had filler and definitely no surgery.’

They added his wife Jennifer is more than happy with his appearance and would not be keen for him to get surgery.

‘Jennifer would not be keen on him changing his handsome face, nor would he want to,’ they continued. ‘Ben is confident in his skin. He just wanted it tighter.’

A separate source added: ‘Ben has been blasted over and over and over for last few decades about everything, this is nothing new. And now that people think he has had a face lift is just a joke.’

Meanwhile, Affleck skipped the Met Gala despite his wife’s VIP role at the fashion extravaganza. 

Lopez was a co-chair of this year’s Met Gala alongside Vogue’s Anna Wintour as well as Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth and Zendaya.
