Serious Lakeville accident leaves three injured, one sent to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford – New Bedford Guide

“Crash sends one person to the hospital.

Two vehicles collided on Bedford Street, near the former Orchid Of Hawaii. Ambulance 3, Ambulance 2, Engine 1, and Car 2 responded to the scene.

Two patients were evaluated and treated at the scene; an adult was transported to Saint Luke’s Hospital with injuries that were not believed to be serious.

The road was closed until crews could stabilize the scene and recover the vehicles.

As firefighters cleared the scene, a second call was initiated for a master alarm activation at 200 Kenneth Welch Drive. Due to a recall of supplemental staffing, there was no delay in the second response.”-Lakeville, MA Fire Department.
